I'm an assistant professor in the Public Affairs Program at the University of Utah's Department of Political Science. Much of my research examines how organic food is regulated in the U.S., but I study a range of other topics, from child welfare services to how rock climbers self-regulate through community rules and norms. I teach classes in public policy, policy analysis, research design, and the intersection of governance and the economy.
